Questions, answered plainly

Is the Resume Builder free?

Yes. Creating, editing, ATS checks and PDF downloads are free for signed-in users.

Does a high ATS score guarantee I'll be shortlisted?

No. The score is an estimate based on transparent formatting and content rules. Employers use many different ATS products and human reviewers; no tool can guarantee parsing or shortlisting.

Which templates are safest for online job portals?

Templates marked ATS, or any template with ATS mode switched on. ATS mode turns multi-column and decorative layouts into a single, plain reading order.

Is my resume or job description sent to an AI service?

No. ATS scoring runs entirely on our servers with deterministic rules, and job descriptions you paste are not stored.

Can I edit the source like in Overleaf?

Code mode lets you edit your resume content and design configuration as validated JSON with live preview. LaTeX compilation is not offered.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete individual resumes at any time, or delete your whole account from the dashboard — all resumes and history are removed.
